My name is Trevor Lehman, and I am an author based out of the Tug Hill region of Upstate New York. I specialize in historical fiction where I delve into specific ethnic communities and bring to light the trials and tribulations they have had to live through.

As someone of German descent, I admire my family's heritage. As I prepared to write this trilogy, I wanted to focus on aspects of my family heritage.
One of the main characters in The Coerced Spies grew up in Germany and immigrated with his family to the United States at a young age. To my audience, what caused that move? Was it the economy? Or was it just their desire for a better life for their growing family? I am pleased to introduce The Coerced Spies to you!
I commend those who take their creative writing seriously. Yes, it is not easy, but it is rewarding. For example, once I began writing seriously, those early thoughts became a published book! I encourage everyone to pursue their creative endeavors. Who knows where that one step will take them?
Dedication
I want to dedicate my first book to my great uncle, Nelson. When relaying my beginning thoughts and plotline with him, he was always very supportive and encouraged me along the way. To anyone who begins a project like this, it is always nice to have someone in your corner cheering you on! Nelson has published two books himself, so his opinion was very important to me. To everyone reading this, I say thank you! Thank you for your support. It means a lot to me! One more person who has been in my corner every step of the way is my brother Josh.
